Driver's Licenses and Vehicle Registration
Within 30 days of establishing residency, drivers need to obtain a Missouri operator's license. The Missouri State Department of Revenue has established the Columbia Contract Office at 1500 Vandiver Drive, Suite 110, (573) 474-4700. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and the last two Saturdays of the month from 8 a.m. - noon.

To register your vehicle, you must present proof of insurance, a current safety inspection and a tax waiver from the Boone County Assessor's Office, 801 E. Walnut Street, Room 143, (573) 886-4270.
