Quarterly Membership Breakfast

What is the quarterly membership breakfast?

The Columbia Chamber of Commerce hosts four Quarterly Membership Breakfasts each program year. These events are meant to get business leaders and representatives of every industry in the region together in one room at one time. Members and business professionals get the opportunity to conduct business or catch up with friends during the breakfast hours while getting caught up on what’s going on in the community.

Why should you consider attending?

QMBs are a great way to get in contact with certain businesses that you otherwise wouldn’t be able to connect with on a regular day. These events offer opportunities to be visible in the business community and show that you support the city and region you live in. On top of that, you get to see what’s happening in your community through the community update portion of the program. This will give you insight on how you can help combat an issue or offer solutions to make your community better. You will also get to hear about the latest information in the Chamber. You’ll get to hear about upcoming events, any current initiatives or what the Chamber is doing to improve the business community.

What is the Format?

Doors open and breakfast begins at 7 a.m. The program will begin around 7:30 a.m. and last until 9 a.m. Presentations and videos from Chamber members, community leaders and business professionals are what the program will consist of.

Registration Process

Hundreds of Chamber members and business professionals attend each QMB. Online registration is generally open months in advance. You can register by finding the event on the Chamber’s Calendar of Events. If you forget to register or plans change to allow you to attend the event after online registration has closed, you can still walk-in and register at the door.
