Director of Government Affairs
The Columbia Chamber of Commerce has an opening for a person to serve as Director of Government Affairs. The person in this position will represent the Chamber on governmental issues at the local, state and federal level; will have oversight of the Chamber’s legislative agenda; and will coordinate programs and events related to legislative issues. He/she will report to the President of the Chamber. Individual seeking this position must have a minimum of an undergraduate degree, experience working with government officials, and excellent communication and relationship building skills. This person must demonstrate the ability to work with the team of Chamber staff members and volunteer leaders. Salary to commensurate with experience.
