Scooter’s Coffee, best known for its amazingly fast drive-thru, specialty coffee, and baked-from-scratch pastries, added a new location at 204 East Nifong Boulevard in Columbia, Missouri. To celebrate, the drive-thru location will be hosting a Grand Opening on Friday, April 1, where customers can earn 50 bonus Smiles when they pay with the Scooter’s Coffee mobile app.
With the app, customers earn 3 “Smiles” for every dollar spent, and once they reach 180 Smiles, they earn a free drink. All customers start in the Scooter Doodle status level, with perks that include a free drink on their birthday and surprise rewards, exclusive to the mobile app only. After earning 500 Smiles, customers move into the Caramelicious® status level with additional perks.
To pay with the app, customers simply need to link a credit card and tap “Pay in Stores” from the home screen. Then, if they choose to tip, they can select a custom amount or percentage prior to scanning their app. Customers also have the option to pay with cash or a gift card and still earn loyalty through the app by using the “Scan to Earn Loyalty” Only QR code.
Scooter’s Coffee is a drive-thru franchise that has been serving world-class coffee for more than 20 years and has over 400 locations in 23 states across the nation. With commitments to build new stores in 30 states, the company plans to open many additional locations in 2022. Its signature drink is the CarameliciousÒ, and the menu features an array of specialty espresso beverages, single-origin coffee, fruit smoothies, Red Bull Infusions, Cold Brew, baked-from-scratch pastries, and savory breakfast options. Scooter’s Coffee also recently released its first-ever ready-to-drink canned flavored lattes!

Columbia Farmers Market kicks off its 42nd season on Saturday, April 2nd, from 8 am-12 pm, located at Columbia’s Agriculture Park (1769 West Ash Street). The Market transitions to its spring hours, 8 am-12 pm, on April 2, welcoming many returning and new vendors, bringing fresh produce, meat, farm-fresh eggs, cheeses, honey, cut flowers, plants, artisan items, and more. Live music from Sebastian Martinez. Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture will be offering free kids activities.
Columbia Farmers Market, a not-for-profit, is a year-round producer-only farmers market in Columbia, Missouri. As a producer-only market, everything sold is grown or made by the farmers and artisans who help sustain our mid-Missouri region. Open since 1980, the market is the largest in mid-Missouri with over 80 vendors who provide a diverse offering of locally grown agricultural and artisan products from within 50 miles of Columbia. In 2021, the market saw its best year in its 41 years of being open, breaking all records. It was voted as the #1 Farmers Market in the Nation, Midwest, and Missouri, by American Farmland Trust. It had the highest number of customers ever visiting the market, with 132,895 shoppers in 2021 (95% increase from 2020, and 22% increase from 2019). The vendors sold $3,314,850 in locally grown and produced items in 2021, a 50% increase from 2020 and 2019. CFM dispensed $49,358 in SNAP matching funds, and another $48,878 in SNAP funds.
