Central Bank of Boone County hosts a collection of Kaci Smart’s artwork in the Downtown Bank Lobby Gallery at 8th and Broadway from January 9, 2023 to February 16, 2023. The Lobby Gallery is open to the public at no cost, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon.
Kaci Smart has a unique inspiration for all of her artwork. The display features a one-of-a-kind ceramics with a color combination of black and red. Smart has spent time exploring how the different textures, details, and movement can impact each piece. Each ceramic piece is fired at cone 10 with food safe glazes which allows for the pieces to be used in daily life.
