33 business and community members will be developing their leadership competencies and gaining insights into the issues and opportunities facing Columbia during Leadership Columbia 2020, set to kick off in January. The applicant pool was the highest received in the past five years, making the selection process especially difficult for the Steering Committee. Selection included consideration of past accomplishments, professional interests, community involvement, and potential for future leadership.
