Join 70 business and community leaders from September 10-12 for Leadership Visit 2019 to Tuscaloosa, AL. One of the Chamber’s rapidly growing programs, the Leadership Visit is an opportunity to join with other Columbia and Boone County leaders to explore topics of community significance in a comparable city, with the goal of bringing back positive ideas and strong relationships to implement these ideas. In addition to being a University community, Tuscaloosa was selected for innovative programs and solutions in the areas of workforce development, transportation infrastructure investment, and a partnership between the University, Chamber, and City to open an incubator and accelerator. Other trip topics will be determined in the coming months. With registration, all details are coordinated for attendees, including a charter flight from Columbia, hotel in downtown Tuscaloosa, ground transportation, educational sessions, and most meals. Spots on the trip are expected to fill quickly, so if interested, watch for an email from the Chamber on May 15 with a link to the registration form. Registration will close when space is full.
