One month after registration opened, less than 15 spots remain for the Columbia Chamber of Commerce Leadership Visit to Lexington, KY from October 24-26, 2017. Fill out the registration form today to add your name to the list of attendees. Leadership Visit is an annual trip which exposes Columbia and Boone County leaders to the best ideas of progressive, nationally recognized communities throughout the United States. Examples of topics to be covered on the 2017 trip include land use planning; merged government and resources; poverty and social equity; crime; real estate market; medical destination; and leveraging higher education. Join the business, community, nonprofit, civic, educational, healthcare and other leaders who have already signed up for this experience.
The Chamber’s goal as the facilitating entity of the Leadership Visit is to have key decision-makers within companies and organizations spend the three-day trip interacting about how we can bring back ideas for positive changes for our community. If you have not attended before, videos recapping the prior three trips including the 2016 trip to Fort Collins can be found on the Chamber’s website by clicking here.
The 2017 trip is limited to 68 attendees. Registration will close on September 22, 2017, or when space is full, whichever comes first. All details are coordinated for attendees, including a charter flight directly from COU to LEX, hotel in downtown Lexington, ground transportation, educational sessions, and most meals.
