Nominations for next year’s Dancing With Missouri Stars are OPEN!

Mareck Center for Dance recently hosted its flagship fundraiser, Dancing With Missouri Stars (DWMS), featuring local celebrity dancers, stunning costumes, theatrics, and ballroom dance performances. The event introduced new faces, including Michele Curry as the Mistress of Ceremonies and Jerrell Jackson as a judge.

The roster of celebrity dancers, including David Wilson, Teresa Snow, David Melloway, Shelley Lyle, Zack Girard, Lili Vianello, Jared Reichel, and Curt Kippenberger, delivered outstanding performances alongside their professional dance partners from Mareck Dance.

The DanceReach program students from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Columbia showcased a collaborative dance piece during intermission, demonstrating the transformative power of dance.

Jared Reichel claimed first place, followed by David Wilson in second and Zack Girard in third. Mareck Center for Dance extends gratitude to all the dedicated celebrities and the supportive community that contributed to the success of Dancing With Missouri Stars.

Dancing With Missouri Stars is a vital competition-style fundraiser supporting Mareck Center for Dance, contributing to over a third of their yearly budget. The event sustains professional performances, education, and popular community programs.
