The annual Leadership Visits are a wonderful opportunity for Chamber members and community leaders to discuss ideas to improve our community.  We have seen exciting results from past trips, such as the High School 2.0 collaboration that Columbia Public Schools and Moberly Area Community College announced earlier this month for participating students to earn an Associate degree at the same time as their high school diploma — an idea initially gleaned during the 2018 visit to Ann Arbor, Michigan.  During the 2019 trip to Tuscaloosa, many fruitful discussions and tours took place, including a visit to the Mercedes Benz U.S. International plant, where workforce needs and transportation infrastructure-related topics were discussed.

If you were not able to attend but are curious to learn more about what other topics were discussed, click here to view the summary report.  This also includes a look back at the prior five trips.  Thank you to The Business Times Company for help in creating this report.  Stay tuned for the announcement this month of the location & date of our 2020 trip!
